Origin: Central America, grows plentifully in Ceylon, India and China
Reed-like herb grows up to 13’ high with long silk blade-shaped leaves, small yellowish flowers with purple tips followed by red-brown seeds
Extraction: Steam distillation from the dried ripe fruit (seeds)
