Origin: Southern Italy, ivory coast of Africa
Fruit bearing tree, fruit is small yellowish pear shaped, sour
Extraction: Cold expression of the fruit peel of nearly ripe fruit
Main Therapeutic Properties:
Antidepressant
Digestive
Carminative
Calming
Antiseptic
Antispasmodic
Applications:
Depression
Infections of mouth, skin
Respiratory
Sore throat, tonsillitis
Bronchitis (best used in conjunction with lemon)
Fever
Intestinal problems (flatulence, indigestion)
Restores appetite
Skin care – oily
Mental & Emotional:
Uplifting
